Antique Wooden Cotton Gin
Back to basics! This lovely old cotton gin is all made by hand, with pegs not nails, and was an important tool for making cloth. As one of the very first steps in preparation of the yarns, the picked cotton must have the seeds removed and this does a great job of it. Still functional, it is from a Pa Ker Yaw (Karen) ethnic village in the hills of northern Thailand.
