Chinese Export Silver Earrings
A pair of exquisite Chinese ‘export silver’ drop earrings in gilded silver with multi-color cloisonné and rock crystal cabochons and drops. Marked SILVER with an additional mark that I cannot determine, these earrings likely date to the first half of the 20th Century and are likely 900 silver or above. Screwbacks could be converted to posts by a jeweler, but offer secure wear. Cloisonné and filigree work is on both sides of drops, but they are not exactly symmetric as one crystal drop is not quite as clear as the other and the balls above the drops are different colors: one is blue, one is green. In excellent, wearable condition.
