Karen Silver Earplugs
These silver earplugs are worn by women from the Karen ethnic groups in northern Thailand and eastern Burma. This pair is old and tests show good silver, although we cannot be sure the exact purity. Condition is very good, with a lovely patina from oxidation of the silver, and an attractive decorative edge. We don’t find these in the villages anymore.
